Taiwan Applied Crystal started from the development of single crystal growth equipment, accumulated various types of single crystal growth experience, and then developed high-end materials required for market applications. Both single crystal growth and high-density ceramic sintering have mature technologies to meet customer needs. Mature single crystal growth includes scintillation crystals (LYSO, LSO, YSO), fluorescent crystals (Ce:YAG, Ce:LuAG), laser gain medium crystals (Nd:YAG, Yb:YAG), and sapphire (Al2O3). High-density ceramics include tantalum pentoxide (Ta2O5) and niobium pentoxide (Nb2O5). The company also established a crystal laboratory to accept the development of new materials single crystals or ceramics entrusted by customers.
